01

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how TailorOS (“TailorOS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles personal information when you visit our website, use our products and services, or connect a third-party account through OAuth.

By using TailorOS, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you use TailorOS on behalf of a tailoring studio or other organization, that organization may separately control information added by its team or customers.

02

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and contact details, such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number.
  • Studio and service data, such as client records, appointments, measurements, garment details, order notes, inventory, invoices, and workflow information that you choose to add.
  • Technical and usage data, such as device and browser details, IP address, log data, pages viewed, and interactions with our services.
  • Communications you send to us, including support requests, feedback, and demo enquiries.
  • Information received from connected services, as described below.
03

OAuth and connected services

When you connect a third-party service, such as Google, the provider shows you the specific permissions TailorOS is requesting. We access only the information covered by the permissions you approve. Depending on the integration, this may include basic profile information, your email address, calendar data, or other data needed to provide the feature you selected.

We use information received through OAuth only to authenticate your account, provide and maintain the requested integration, sync data at your direction, prevent fraud, troubleshoot errors, and support you. We do not use OAuth data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

TailorOS’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

04

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, personalize, secure, and improve TailorOS.
  • Create accounts, manage access, and deliver requested integrations.
  • Process transactions and send service, security, and administrative messages.
  • Respond to enquiries and provide technical or customer support.
  • Understand product usage and improve reliability and performance.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect users, TailorOS, and others.
05

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share it with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, communicate, support, or process payments for the service. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

We may also disclose information when you direct us to, when an integration requires it, in connection with a business reorganization, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or protect rights, safety, and security.

06

Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legitimate operational needs, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it was collected.

07

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. You may request help with these rights by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You can disconnect an integration from your TailorOS account or revoke TailorOS’s access from the connected provider’s account settings. Revocation stops future access but may not automatically delete information already stored in TailorOS. To request deletion of that information or your TailorOS account, email hello@tailoros.com.

08

International use and children

TailorOS may process information in countries other than the one where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

TailorOS is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

09

Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.

Questions, privacy requests, and complaints can be sent to hello@tailoros.com.
